My fourth university project was to pick a quote about creativity from a selection and create a poster using our own handmade typeface to illustrate the quote's meaning. I chose this quote by Edwin Land, and interpreted as "don't be afraid to make mistakes" - which is reflected in the crumpled up paper typeface. Each letter represents a rejected idea (perhaps dismissed by a client), an opportunity to learn from.
